We are happy to announce that we are expecting a litter near November 29th, 2026. We expect yellow and black puppies from this pairing.

Our focus for this litter is to produce calm, even tempered puppies who have the smarts and drive to be easy to train for your home life, hunting endeavors, and all the adventures in between.

We chose a pairing that emphasized mellow demeanors, excellent “on/off” working to relaxing temperaments, trainability and overall health.

With this pairing, we are hoping to continue a stylish, blockier build on a smaller body composition with a goal of producing females that weigh approximately 50-65 pounds and males between 65-85 pounds. We believe that this weight range is beneficial in promoting healthy joints across a long and active life for our dogs.

The cost of a puppy from this litter is $1500. We require a $250 deposit with the remainder due upon pick up of your puppy at 8 weeks. We expect these puppies to be ready for their new homes in late January or early February 2027.

Because we only have a select number of litters every few years, we don’t take deposits before our puppies are born. Please reach out to get on our wait list to be contacted when the puppies arrive!

Please read on for more information on River and Taz:

River is our yellow female who is beloved for her incredibly mellow temperament that is complimented by her ability to get out and work hard. She aims to please and has been smart, capable and easy to train since day one. She has a strong and blocky build but maintains a weight of about 55 pounds which helps ensure she is able to be active and comfortable for a long life.

This is River’s first litter (we are so excited!)

Taz is a black male from the Bird Crazy Gun Dogs pedigree in Portage, WI. He is the smart and successful hunting companion of JJ’s Guide Service in Sturgeon Bay, WI. Taz is even tempered and is known for his stellar “on/off” switch: he loves to be out working alongside JJ but is just as happy to be hanging out and getting lots of love in the house.

Taz has a strong, blocky build on a taller frame, ideal for swimming and retrieving in tall grass and wetlands.

Taz has produced one other litter that has received high compliments on their temperaments and health.
